Seeking a nanny job

Hello, my name is Nori.

I came to Vancouver in May 2025 on a Co-op study program. I have 11.5 years of experience working as a childcare provider in Japan, as well as 1.5 years of experience working at a Japanese preschool in Vancouver.

Most of my experience has been as a lead teacher in preschool classrooms, and for the past two years in Japan, I also worked as an assistant director.

I came to Vancouver to pursue a career in childcare and have successfully converted my Japanese childcare license to a BC certification. I currently hold an ECE Basic certificate.

Due to my school schedule (Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM), my availability for babysitting is somewhat limited. However, I would love the opportunity to support families and spend time with children as much as possible.

At the moment, I am looking for a family who would like ongoing weekend support. Due to my visa conditions, I am available until the end of August.

If you or someone you know is looking for weekend childcare support, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share my information.

I am currently working part-time on weekends, so I would be available to start from mid-May or June.

I hold a valid BC driver’s license, although I do not own a car. I am based in Vancouver and am looking for positions accessible by SkyTrain or bus.
